Досліджуються нормативно-правові засади впровадження та функціонування розумних сміттєзбірників у межах концепції «розумного міста». Розглянуто національні та міжнародні підходи до правового регулювання управління твердими побутовими відходами із застосуванням сучасних цифрових технологій. Проведено аналіз чинного законодавства України, зокрема у контексті його відповідності викликам цифрової трансформації урбаністичного простору. Акцентовано увагу на необхідності адаптації правового поля до інноваційних рішень, що інтегрують екологічні та технологічні компоненти. Отримані результати дозволяють визначити напрями вдосконалення нормативної бази для забезпечення ефективного, прозорого й сталого функціонування інтелектуальних систем управління відходами.
