Розглядаються сучасні методи захисту міського середовища від шумового забруднення з акцентом на інтеграцію містобудівних, архітектурно-планувальних, інженерних та ландшафтних рішень. Проведено аналіз нормативної бази України, окреслено основні проблеми, що виникають при впровадженні шумозахисних заходів, наведено приклади успішної реалізації методів зниження міського шумового забруднення, як із зарубіжного, так і з українського досвіду.
