Розглянуто поняття геометрії як невід’ємної складової збудованого середовища. Досліджено ступінь впливу геометрії на розвиток архітектури та містобудування. Визначено ключові геометричні принципи, які формували архітектуру впродовж історії людства. Досліджено множину геометричних характеристики які формують геометричний вимір архітектури. Досліджено геометрію архітектури в контексті естетики та функції. Виявлено семантичний код геометрії архітектури, досліджено її роль у задоволенні практичних та духовних потреб людини.
