Проведено аналіз демографічних показників Ірану, включаючи статистику населення в 31 провінції, кількість шкіл, класів, учнів, щільність населення, дисперсію та приріст населення. Окрему увагу приділено аналізу обсягів споживання енергії в навчальних закладах з метою виявлення архітектурних рішень, спрямованих на підвищення енергоефективності. У дослідженні підкреслюється важливість врахування демографічних аспектів для оптимального планування мережі навчальних будівель, розрахунку їхньої кількості, а також реалізації енергоефективних архітектурних рішень. Іран, країна в Західній Азії з населенням 86,8 мільйона осіб, займає 17-е місце серед країн світу за чисельністю населення. Він поділений на 31 провінцію, серед яких найбільш густонаселеними є Тегеран (столиця), Мешхед, Ісфахан, Карадж та Шираз.
